Montecatini.cl, Art Gallery, was awarded, in the year 2000, in the first National Promotion Fund Competition of PROCHILE, an export promotion program, whose objective The main one is to promote contemporary painting of artists of the 8th region and position Chile not only economically but also culturally in other markets.
In 2001 another Project for the Promotion of Contemporary Chilean Painting was awarded again in the National Competition of Promotion Funds of PROCHILE.
In 2002, another project is attached to the FONDART (Promotion Fund for the Arts) that reinforces the Previous Projects.
exhibitions in the countries of Costa Rica in the second half of November 2000, New York in March 2001, Jamaica in July 2001 and Miami, Durban Segnini gallery in September 2002.
Each artist exhibited between 5 and 7 works of different formats (100 x 120 cm, 100 x 100 cm) which were made in oil or acrylic on canvas (linen). All paintings are cutting edge.
These painters develop their artistic proposal within a clearly contemporary style and are representatives of the best of current Chilean painting.
All have a high-quality exportable offer and their trajectory is supported both by participation in multiple exhibitions and competitions, and by their publication in various national books.
In the year 2003 Galería Montecatini, in exclusive representation of the artists Gina Intveen, Alejandra Cigarroa, Coco Pierart, Jorge Guerrero, Rubén Fernández and Alejandro Arrepol, will make exhibitions of contemporary Chilean painting in the following countries.
This initiative considered four

· Kingston, Jamaica: September 2003 “Galería Bolívar”
· Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic: October 2003 “Guernica Gallery”
· San Juan, Puerto Rico: November 2003 “VIOTA Gallery”
In turn, Galería Montecatini, in its task of promoting new talent, will incorporate artists Paola Caro and Pablo Reyes in 2003, who will exhibit their works in Jamaica.
In October 2004, Galería Montecatini will hold a painting and sculpture exhibition at Galería Pirámide, Guatemala City, Guatemala. The participating painters are Gina Intveen, Rubén Fernandez and Jorgue Guerrero; and the sculptor, Tito Ortiz.
For the year 2005 Montecatini gallery is invited to exhibit at:

This year 2006, gallery Montecatini, opens on June 29 at Galerìa Bolivar in Kingston, Jamaica, a collective of Chilean artists Paulina Beyer, Alejandra Cigarroa, Jorge Guerrero and Alejandro Arrepol . The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of Chile in Jamaica.

This year 2010, we will make samples of Painting in Galería Antigua, Guatemala.
The exhibition “La Fuerza de Eros” by Chilean artists Gina Intveen and Pilar Ríos M. will present 20 unpublished works.
ART WITHOUT BORDERS that aims to culturally position Chile abroad, disseminate contemporary Chilean painting and promote the work of participating Chilean artists.
We have made painting exhibitions in outstanding galleries and contemporary art museums in different countries of Central America, the Caribbean, USA and Asia (Vietnam, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Panama, Rep Dominican, Guatemala, Costa Rica, etc.).
Each artist has a particular plastic proposal that is framed within a contemporary Latin American style, being faithful representatives of current Chilean painting.
His career is supported by multiple individual and collective exhibitions, both in Chile and abroad.
In this collective exhibition at the Artseni Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to be held in November 2009, the following artists participate:
Carmen Gloria Machuca, Gina Intveen, Claudia Penrroz, Pilar Ríos M., Alejandro Arrepol, Paulina Beyer and Silvia Gleisner.
All the paintings exhibited are on canvas, using techniques such as oil, acrylic and mixed.
This itinerant project, permanently in time, considers continuing with painting exhibitions in the future and on the eve of our Bicentennial the artists deal with issues related to the Chilean identity, such as urban and rural landscape, and the roles of women today.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the director of the gallery, Mr. Phillip Wong, the ambassador of Chile, mr. Jose Manuel Ovalle and the director of ProChile, Mrs. Patricia Araya.
To end the year 2008, Montecatini.cl gallery made its last exhibition of painting abroad in Guernica Gallery, where it exhibited for the third time.
The painting exhibition by Chilean artists Paulina Beyer and Sonia Koch was inaugurated by Gamal Michelén, director of Galería Guernica, Carmen GLoria Matthei, manager of the project ARTE SIN FRONTERAS and Paulina Beyer , Chilean plastic artist.
Each artist presented 10 works in canvas in different formats.

“Contemporary Chilean Painting”, painting exhibition by the artists Alejandro Arrepol, Carmen Gloria Machuca and Gina Intveen was inaugurated on October 16, 2008 at the prestigious IMAGEN art gallery in the city of Panama.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the ambassador of Chile in Panama, Mr. Juan de Dios Gutiérrez, Catalina Ocampo, ProChile director, Sara Liz Areces, director of Galería Imagen and Carmen Gloria Matthei, manager of the Arte sin Fronteras project.
Each artist presented 10 works in cloth.

In May 2008, the exhibition “Colors of the Andes” by Chilean artists Rubén Fernández, Silvia Gleisner, Vilma Penrroz and Pilar Ríos was inaugurated at Galería Asia Fine Art.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Consul of Chile, Mr. Guillermo Garrido and gallery directors Catherine Lam and Sidney Cowell. Each artist presented 5 paintings on canvas.

Chilean artists Paulina Beyer and Gina Intveen were invited to participate in this VI edition of the Florence Biennial.
Each artist presented 3 fabrics in large formats.
The work of the two Chilean artists, represented by www.montecatini.cl, was very well criticized by different juries of the Biennial.
On this occasion 840 artists from 76 nations participated.

With great success was inaugurated on November 8, 2007, the CHILEAN WOMAN IN COLOGNE shows, at the Blue Space Gallery in Ho Chi Minh (Saigoin), Vietnam.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the ambassador of Chile in Vietnam, Mr. Jorge Canelas, by Carmen Gloria Matthei, Director of Galería montecatini.cl and manager of the Arte sin Fronteras project, by the director of the Blue Space gallery, Mrs. Nga, and by the director of Prochile in Vietnam, Mr. Nèstor Riveros.
The invited Chilean artists are Gina Intveen and Claudia Penrroz who, after a great study, brought to the canvas the different roles that women played during the colonial period. Each artist presents 15 fabrics in different formats, oils and acrylics on canvas.

The solo exhibition of Gina Intveen’s painting and Tito Ortiz’s sculpture was inaugurated on September 10, 2005 by the Ambassador of Chile in Guatemala, Mr. Jorge Molina and Carmen Gloria Matthei, director of www.montecatini.cl This second individual exhibition of both artists will remain open until October 10 in the Hotel Museum room House of Santo Domingo. Gina presented 17 fabrics of different formats, while Tito showed 1 sculpture in bronze and 7 in stoneware. |

The critics highlighted the excellent work of both artists, their great mastery of painting and sculpture and the excellent level of their proposals.
This is the second exhibition held in Guernica gallery supporting the cultural exchange between both countries.

On October 7, 2004, the Chilean Ambassador, Mr. Jorge Valdivieso, inaugurated the Contemporary Chilean Painting and Sculpture exhibition at Galería Pirámide, Guatemala City.
The invited artists were Gina Intveen- Jorge Guerrero- Rubén Fernández and the sculptor Tito Ortíz.
The critics praised the good level of Chilean artists and stressed the importance of cultural exchange between both countries.

With great success, the last international exhibition of the year 2003 “Contemporary Chilean Painting” was inaugurated on November 20 at the VIOTA gallery in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The first international exhibition of the year 2003 was held at the Museum of the Honduran Man, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The second exhibition was inaugurated on March 29, 2001, in the Consulate Room of Chile in New York by Mr. Cónsul and by Marcelo Salas, ProChile director in that city.
